Come to Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village on Sunday, 4 December for an exciting fundraiser, the ‘RBC Race for the Kids’. This event will feature three races: a fun run & walk, an individual 3km and an individual 10km timed race, followed by an entertaining carnival the kids will love. Making the Most of Every Minute
Vincent Tsui (BBA 1999) has used his time management skills to create a successful marketing career. Since his student days, Vincent has been passionate about using spare time to learn and grow, a habit he still values today. After graduation, he worked in marketing for many leading companies and is now Chief Marketing Officer of Next Digital Limited. Never one to waste a moment, Vincent has a thriving side career as a writer, penning books and columns under the pseudonym Tsui Yuen, allowing him to share his marketing insights with an eager audience. CUHK MBA Town Centre Relaunches
In celebration of the MBA 50th Anniversary, the MBA Town Centre has been fully renovated to provide enhanced and superior teaching and learning facilities. All alumni are invited to join the relaunch ceremony on Friday, 18 November to have a tour of the new facility and to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends of the Business School over elegant cocktails. Register for the MBA 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner ─ Final Call!

CUHK Business School’s first MBA program was launched in 1966 and has produced many success stories over the years. To celebrate five great decades, the MBA 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be held on Sunday, 4 December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event is open to all Business School alumni and will feature performances, food and a lucky draw. CUHK Business School Mourns the Loss of Dr. Cheng Yu-tung
Dr. Cheng Yu-tung was an innovative, visionary entrepreneur and a strong supporter of CUHK and the Business School. He founded Hong Kong’s first three-year, part-time MBA program in 1977 and served as Chairman of the MBA Advisory Board for many years. In 2011, he lent his support to the Teaching Hotel Project, which comprises the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin and the Cheng Yu Tung Building, which is dedicated to teaching. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for Dr. Cheng’s tremendous contributions to the Business School and send our deep condolences to his family. A Great Start to a New Year for the MBA EMP

Over 100 participants attended the MBA EMP (Elite Mentorship Program) Kick-off Gathering at The Langham Hong Kong on 6 October. After an elegant cocktail reception, MBA students met their mentors over a delightful dinner. Prof. Kalok Chan, Dean of the Business School, gave an inspiring speech and Ms. Stephanie Villemagne, the Associate Dean (Graduate Programs) and Director of MBA Programs, led a toast. Every year, the EMP recruits MBA alumni to provide advice and guidance for full-time MBA students through a stringent matching process. Click here to view the report and photos.
Ontario Alumni Network Seminar and Afternoon Tea
On 1 October, over 60 Business School and Economics alumni gathered to hear fellow alumnus Prof. Tsun-kong Sham (BSc. in Chemistry 1971) speak at a seminar in Toronto. He received the Order of Canada for his achievements in synchrotron radiation research and was the first Chinese national to earn this honour. Prof. Sham currently works for the University of Western Ontario’s Department of Chemistry. Joint Universities Happy Hour Brings 150 Alumni Together
At the Joint Universities Happy Hour on 21 September, 50 CUHK Business School alumni joined 100 graduates of other universities to network over drinks and snacks. It was a great opportunity for alumni to connect with people from different schools, including the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of Southern California and Boston University. Participants enjoyed the chance to expand their network, which is important in today’s competitive landscape. Find out more here.
